Thank you for using Path Ascent.
This Return and Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refund requests are handled for purchases of Path Ascent's digital services, including access to the Path Ascent website, web application, browser extension, subscription features, beta or promotional access, and related services.
Path Ascent provides digital services only. We do not sell physical goods, ship physical products, accept physical returns, or offer product exchanges.
Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:
- Company(referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Policy) refers to Path Ascent LLC, 336 East University Pkwy #1172, Orem, UT 84058.
- Servicerefers to Path Ascent's website, web application, browser extension, subdomains, digital subscription features, beta features, and related online services.
- Subscription means paid access to the Service or certain features of the Service on a recurring basis, such as monthly, annual, coach-connected, promotional, or other subscription plans.
- Purchase means a payment made by You for access to the Service, a Subscription, paid feature, plan, promotion, beta offer, coach-connected access, or other digital Path Ascent offering.
- Website refers to Path Ascent, accessible from https://pathascent.com.
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Digital Services Only
Path Ascent provides digital career transition and job-search execution software and related online services. Because the Service is digital, there are no physical products to return and no return shipping process.
Any references on checkout pages, invoices, emails, or third-party payment processor screens to "products", "items", "orders", or similar terms should be understood to refer to digital access to the Service unless we expressly state otherwise.
Subscription Cancellations
If You purchase a Subscription, You may cancel future renewals through Your account settings, through the applicable payment processor, or by contacting Us at support@pathascent.com.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless required by applicable law or expressly stated in a separate written offer, cancellation does not automatically entitle You to a refund or prorated refund for the current billing period.
If You cancel a paid Subscription, You may continue to have access to the paid features until the end of the then-current billing period, unless access is terminated earlier because of a violation of Our Terms of Service or another applicable agreement.
Refund Requests
Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis if submitted within 7 days of the applicable Purchase, unless a longer period is required by applicable law or expressly stated in a specific written offer.
To request a refund, You must contact Us at support@pathascent.com or through https://pathascent.com/contact and provide Your receipt, invoice, account email, and a short explanation of the request.
We may deny refund requests where, for example, the request is outside the stated refund window, the account has substantially used the Service, the request relates to a discounted or promotional offer marked as non-refundable, the account violated Our Terms of Service, or the request is inconsistent with the applicable checkout terms.
Nothing in this Policy limits any refund or cancellation rights You may have under applicable law.
No Physical Returns or Exchanges
Because Path Ascent provides digital services, We do not accept physical returns, require return shipment, exchange physical products, or reimburse shipping costs.
You should not mail or ship anything to Path Ascent for a refund unless We specifically instruct You to do so in writing.
Promotional, Discounted, Beta, and Coach-Connected Access
From time to time, Path Ascent may offer free beta access, discounted access, founding-user pricing, promotional pricing, coach-connected access, coupon codes, or other special access arrangements.
Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated in a written offer, promotional, discounted, beta, founding-user, coach-connected, or free access may be changed, limited, discontinued, or made subject to different terms. Such access may not be eligible for refunds, credits, or cash value.
Trials and Free Access
If Path Ascent offers a free trial, free beta, or other free access period, the specific terms presented at signup or checkout will apply. Free access does not guarantee continued free access, permanent feature availability, or future eligibility for a paid plan.
If a future offer includes automatic conversion from a trial to a paid Subscription, Path Ascent will disclose the material terms of that offer where required, including price, renewal cadence, and cancellation instructions.
Payment Processor and Plan-Specific Terms
Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe. Your payment information is handled by the payment processor according to its own terms and privacy policy.
If a checkout page, pricing page, subscription order page, promotional offer, invoice, or written agreement includes different or more specific cancellation or refund terms for a particular Purchase, those specific terms will control for that Purchase to the extent permitted by law.
Abuse, Fraud, and Terms Violations
We may refuse refunds, credits, or continued access where We reasonably believe there has been fraud, abuse, misuse of the Service, violation of Our Terms of Service, unauthorized resale or sharing of access, payment dispute abuse, or conduct that harms Path Ascent, other users, or third parties.
Changes to this Return and Refund Policy
We may update this Return and Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when it was last revised.
Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means You accept the updated Policy.
